Whimsical Wednesdays: Happy Birthday Mom!
Well today is my mom's birthday. I wanted to make her something special. She has been going through a rough time lately. She is handicapped due to extremely bad arthritis in her knees and poor circulation in her legs. A lot of times she's limited to sitting in her recliner with her legs elevated. That has pretty much got her down in the dumps.
I saw this pattern while browsing through patterns at a local craft store awhile back and immediately thought of Mom. I sent her pictures of fabric and had her choose which fabric pattern she liked but didn't tell her what it was for.
I took it to her this week and she loved it. :-)
Happy Birthday Mom!! I love you!
The top straps velcro down with decorative buttons on the outside.
The side loops velcro around the walker legs to prevent the bag from swinging as she walks. It also allows her to easily remove the bag from the walker and use it as a purse.
