Photo Canvas Product Review & Giveaway!
Hello all!! I am back from an almost two week camping adventure (I will share more about that in upcoming posts) and I'm excited to jump right back into the swing of things and share a product review & giveaway!
As a professional photographer I have used a few professional printing companies to order canvas prints which gave me a great foundation to base my review on.
I selected the 8x10 (0.75" Thickness) Canvas Print Wrap through Easycanvasprints.com to review. They gifted me this canvas to review their website and product.
I enjoyed the ease of use navigating through their website. You simply start off by selecting your print size and wrap depth (thickness). You are also given the option to have the wrap frame for an additional charge.
Next you are able to upload the image you would like to use. I like the plugins to access images through Facebook and Instagram.
If you're unfamiliar with image resolution they provide an image quality check to ensure the image you uploaded will print correctly.
Once you upload your image you have three options for selecting your border. There is the Mirror Border (your image mirrors around the edge), Image Wrap (your image wrap around the edge), Border Color (you can select a solid color to go on the edges...this is the option I selected). All of these options are included.
You will also select the type of display option. There is the wall mount (included) and canvas stand (additional charge).
They do offer color finishing (Black & White, Sepia) and Image Retouching both for additional charge. I enhanced and edited my own image and uploaded it already in black and white with the text since I had the ability to do so.
Their pricing is quite reasonable as well.
They did expedite shipping so the canvas would arrive quickly. Therefore, I can not give a review on how speedy their products arrive after being ordered/shipped out.
The product was packaged safely in a large enough box to prevent damage from any dented corners and wrapped in a brown packing paper which stopped the canvas from sliding around during shipping. The box itself was also properly marked "Handle with Care."
Now on to the fun part! Here's my review of the actual product....
This is a picture of my two youngest ones holding hands walking down the sidewalk by our house. It's a very precious image and I knew this would be the one I would use for the review the moment I was asked to participate.
I think the canvas turned out beautifully!
Even after a closer look you can see that there's the canvas texture seeing minimal pocketing (white spots where the printers did not fill in the textures of the canvas material). Especially look at the black on Joey's shirt. I saw a few white specks but in my opinion that's to be expected and give the print a more authentic canvas feel. There's only need for concern when there is a speckling of white through the image, which to me shows a poor quality canvas print and that wasn't the case here.
The canvas was pulled tightly and securely fastened to the frame with staples.
The wall mounting was secure and snug against the canvas frame the way it should be.
The wood used for the frame was sturdy and solid. There was no splintering or discoloring in the wood.
The image was lined up and wrapped around the frame almost perfectly. It was only slightly off on one of the four sides but I was examining the canvas print under close inspection and may not have even noticed it otherwise.
Overall I give EasyCanvasPrints.com a five star review! :-) The ordering process was easy and they provide their customers with a variety of options to meet their needs. The product itself was wonderful quality for the price. I think you will be quite pleased if you place an order through them.
