Easter Egg Bouquets
Inspired by Marisa's Easter Egg Bouquet
I volunteered to create decorations this year for our church's Easter Egg Hunt. I was so excited when I saw Marisa post this at one of my Fabulous Fridays linky parties that I knew I had to use the idea! :-)
Materials Needed:
Basket or bucket
Easter Grass (I used the shredded paper "grass" first but didn't like the look as much as traditional Easter grass)
Cake Pop Sticks
Drill with a bit the size of the cake pop sticks
Six Easter eggs
Pom Poms
Hot glue gun
Ribbon
Floral foam
Accessories (Butterflies, pinwheels, mini straw hats, etc).
(Ignore the moss...it was for another project and it snuck in this picture...haha)
Cut the foam to fit in your basket or bucket.
Drill a hole in the bottom of the eggs, being careful not to crack the eggs.
Insert the cake pop stick and place the stick in the foam.
Next, stuff the Easter grass around the sticks. I started out with this brown shredded gift basket paper, but liked the look of the traditional Easter grass and switched it up later.
Add your accessories....
Cut two pieces of ribbon long enough to be tied or glued onto the handles. Cut another strip long enough to glue along the bottom of your basket or bucket.
I was excited when I found this cute egg ribbon for the egg hunt!
I twisted the ribbon around the handle and hot glued them in place.
I thought the straw hats looked cute on the eggs! You could even draw a face on it if you wanted.
Next hot glue all the pom poms onto the Easter grass.
I really love how they turned out!! :-)
